Service Design and Infrastructure Manager (m/f)

Location: Vienna

Your responsibilities
  • Responsibility for designing and optimizing (IT) services
  • Prototypes and tests new service concepts
  • Applies a holistic approach in considering the integrated way of strategic, systematic and process-oriented design decisions
  • Manages acquisition, allocation, setup/deployment and upgrade/maintenance of infrastructure, hardware and software
  • Actively engages in the vendor selection, renewal and termination processes
  • Performs regular vendor meetings and tracks vendor performance
  • Actively participates in contract negotiations
  • Verifies and assists with software license inventory tracking and purchasing new licenses
  • Coordinates disaster recovery processes at the direction of IT security
  • Researches and evaluates new hardware, software concepts and technologies and provides advice as to new technologies
Your profile
  • Completed technical and/or economical education or equivalent work experience
  • In depth expertise of ITIL service management, service design experience advantageous
  • Good understanding of central system infrastructure (software and hardware)
  • Understanding of business domain and processes
  • Experience with life cycle management and disaster recovery concepts
  • Experience with managing subcontractors and other third parties
  • Analytical and solution driven personality with intercultural competence
  • Good oral and written English and German skills
