Head of Operations Management and Governance (m/f)

Your responsibilities
The Head of Operations Management & Governance EMENA is responsible for standardization of operations and continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of all operations entities within the region’s matrix organization.
He/she also directly manages a team of analysts and contributes to the establishment of global operations processes, tools and best practices as facilitator of the Global Operations Council.
  • Leading the operations management & governance team
  • Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
  • Own and drive Operational Excellence Initiatives throughout the region
  • Managing quality assurance programs
  • Definition of  process framework and services, its related KPIs and the metrics applied
  • Benchmarking of services provided within the region and worldwide
  • Continuously analyze and improvement of Business Processes
  • Mobilization of new Operations services/organizations
  • Budgeting and forecasting of operational projects
  • Financial approval including business case evaluation of Business Changes
  • Implement reports for commercial and technical operations to facilitate monitoring, management of deviations and benchmarking
  • Definition and standardization of (ITIL) service management processes
  • Standardization, benchmarking and continuous improvement of operational tool portfolio
  • Facilitate global service governance council for Operations
Your profile
  • Excellent operations and business process knowledge paired with broad-based IT competence
  • Excellent business economics skills, experience in management consulting is an asset
  • Experience of developing and implementing shared services concepts
  • Proven expertise in implementing ‘operational excellence’, benchmarking and business process improvement
  • Knowledge of traffic management and tolling systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of best practice frameworks and standards, such as ITIL/COBIT/ISO9000/9001/20000/27000
  • Proven leadership experience in line and matrix organizations
  • Creative, solution driven personality with can-do attitude & approach and natural leadership style
  • Outstanding personal integrity and maturity who shows the appropriate level of judgement and professionalism when handling confidential matters
  • Academic degree and/or post graduate education is a plus
  • Fluent German, excellent English language skills
