Your responsibilities

The following exciting tasks are waiting for you:

  • Reception and analysis of fault reports from our Operations team
  • Error limitation and possible correction to keep our systems up and running
  • Reproduction of software system anomalies
  • Set-up and maintenance of testing environments and staging systems
  • Preparation and creation of bug reports
  • Support for the team for solving found issues
  • Performing tests in a staging environment
  • Roll-out and roll-out support of software developed in the team
Your profile

The job is perfect for you if you bring along the following qualifications:

  • you have a passion for software system analysis
  • you enjoy to learn new technologies, research and apply learnings to daily work
  • you finished your degree (preferably a Master) in System Engineering, Software Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telematics or similar
  • you already gained experience in Software Analysis / 3rd Level Support:
    • Root-Cause analysis of software anomalies
    • Ability and flexibility to build up knowledge of different rather complex systems that are multi-tier in an efficient way
    • Set-up of test-environments for reproduction of anomalies
    • Monitoring and supervision of Software Systems, SQL (Oracle, SQLite), SoapUI, Powershell, Fundamental Knowledge of Windows and Linux
    • Analysis and elaboration of found issues and reporting to the development team
  • desirable skills: Jira/Confluence, Jenkins CI
  • you are able to deal with high pressure while keeping a cool head to find workarounds to keep up systems up and running
  • multitasking and prioritizing work to meet scope, budget and deadlines is something you are good at
  • you have a mindset for efficiency, productivity and creativity
  • very good knowledge in oral and written English, basic German
