Your responsibilities
At Kapsch PublicTransportCom BE, technology is at the core of everything we do.  In this position you drive and support solutions for Product Quality and Manufacturing related issues, once the product has been released.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced colleague with a strong focus on hardware and software technology and quality in the broad sense of the word. You’re known for your perseverance and accuracy.
  • As part of the multi-disciplinary Service Delivery team, you are the first point of contact for our customers to anticipate on potential software incidents.
  • You will perform in-depth incident analysis, reproduce incidents & provide crystal clear reporting on the status towards all relevant stakeholders, internal & external.
  • Keeping the Service Level Agreements with our customers in mind, you are able to approach problems in a SLA driven mindset.
  • You report on a regular base towards the Service Delivery Manager and/or customers
  • You provide assistance towards customer calls ( mail / phone )
  • You provide field investigation ( if applicable )
  • If needed, you can train the end-user on solutions
Your profile
  • Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent through experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role or software testing is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ( NL and EN )
  • Knowledge & confidence to communicate fluently with all levels of customers & colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Troubleshooting and research skills
  • Coaching skills are a plus
  • Understanding of modern software development methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Understanding of modern incident reporting tools & techniques
  • You are a first class problem solver!

If you have experience in the below items, this is considered as an added value:
  • Creation & testing of AWS templates
  • Associated builds/PowerShell and bah scripts for the Elastic Beanstalk applications
  • Docker setup (docker file) for the reverse proxy for example
  • Manage the various AWS VPC environments and associated resources
  • VPC network security (security groups)
  • IAM access control
  • DNS configurations (extern AWS Route 53, intern via windows AD)
  • Certificate management
