Your responsibilities
You lead and coordinate the Supply Chain team that is composed out of people responsible for logistics, purchasing, repair and return of devices and the quality of our suppliers.
You define and optimize the strategy of SCM
Together with your team, you will:
  • Analyze and improve supply processes.
  • Select, evaluate, qualify and develop suppliers.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions and achieve agreements.
  • Take the responsibility for repair services of Kapsch own manufactured product and support 3rd party product repair services.
  • Take the responsibility for inventory management.
  • Support customer bid and project deployment activities in projects.

You are the interface and build successful relationships with owned suppliers.
In case of conflicts, you will act as escalation authority
As part of the management team you support the good collaboration between all different departments.
Your profile
  • You have an advanced commercial education and comprehensive practical experience in international supply chain management (SCM).
  • You can look back on at least 10 years experience in the above mentioned domains.
  • Next to your good commercial insights, you have an entrepreneurial way of thinking
  • Your interpersonal skills make you a good people manager and communicator
  • You are capable of working effectively in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment
  • Negotiating has no secrets for you
  • You possess basic project management skills
